Amanda has 30 years of experience in secondary education as a teacher, basketball coach and university counselor with extensive experience supporting first generation and HALI students in the US and MENA. She has worked internationally in Hong Kong and Egypt and is now based in Cairo as an IEC. She holds a BA in History from UC San Diego, an MS in Geography from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a College and Career Counseling Certificate from UC Berkeley.
