For Students

Is money the only thing standing between you and university?

You worked hard. You earned your place. But the financial offers didn't come through and April 1st passed without a real option.

Second Chance exists for you.

Every year, we help 40–50 outstanding students secure full scholarships -  covering tuition, room, and board - at top universities in the US, Canada, Hong Kong, South Korea, and beyond. And we do it after April 1.

Applications for our 2026 cycle have now closed.

Do you qualify?

You may be a fit if you:

  • Have never attended university

  • Come from a low-income or  under-resourced background (EFC typically under $8,000/year)

  • Are academically exceptional - SAT 1450+ or top 5% on national school-leaving exams

    • On SAT/ACT scores: We strongly prefer them, but understand they're not always accessible. Students affected by conflict, displacement, or countries where SATs aren't offered may still apply. Of our 223 successful placements over seven years, only a handful lacked scores.

  • Applied for undergraduate study but received no financially viable offer by April 1

  • Graduated high school in June 2024 or later (some exceptions considered)

  • Are not currently enrolled in a university degree program

Meeting these criteria doesn't guarantee admission. Second Chance is highly selective, and we review every application holistically.

What does it cost?

Nothing. The program is completely free.

We believe the world is better when talented people get the education they've earned. Second Chance removes the financial barrier so you can contribute your talents to your family, your community, and the world.

Second Chance can be your lifeline to a university education.

Here are some of the stories of other students who have participated in Second Chance.

NOTE: Second Chance is for undergraduate (Bachelor's) programs only - not graduate or postgraduate study.
