For Students

You’re a top student. You applied to the US for university for undergraduate. But one thing stood in your way – money. You landed on a few waitlists, and maybe you even won a few scholarships – but none of these offers were financially within your reach.

If this sounds like you, Second Chance might be able to help. Every year, we help 40-50 students get full scholarships at top universities around the world – after April 1.

That’s right. We help students like you find, apply, and receive full tuition, room and board scholarships, at top universities in the US, Canada, Hong Kong, South Korea, and other countries where you can find strong employment opportunities after you finish university.

To qualify, are you:

-
Someone who has never attended university (yet)?
-
From a low-income or under-resourced background? We typically work with students whose Expected Family Contribution (EFC) is less than $7,000 USD per year.
-
Academically outstanding? Top of your class? Or even, best in your nation? You must have an SAT of 1450+ (or equivalent) and/or top 5% on national school leaving exams.
-
Someone who applied to universities (for undergraduate) in the US but didn’t get a financially viable offer by April 1?

If you can answer yes to the questions above, then you can apply to the Second Chance program by April 7th of each year. (We are now closed for 2025 applications.)

Second Chance can be your lifeline to a university education.

How much does this program cost? It’s free.
Why? Because we want to remove financial barriers for you as you try to access higher education. The world will be a better place if you can get an education, so that you can contribute your talents, leadership, and impact to your family, community, and the world.

Here are some of the stories of other students who have participated in Second Chance.

Applications are now closed for the 2025 intake.

NOTE: Second Chance is only for students applying for undergraduate degrees (Bachelor degrees); it is not for those applying to graduate programs.
