Palestinian Scholars Program

"Among this exceptional cohort are two students from Gaza and one from the West Bank, recruited through the Second Chance initiative. This program supports high-achieving, low-income international students, including refugees, who seek access to higher education but lack financial aid. GU-Q's collaboration with Second Chance underscores its unwavering commitment to access and equity in the face of global challenges."

Important
We recognize that many Palestinian students are navigating extremely difficult and uncertain circumstances. At the same time, it is important to be clear that Second Chance cannot serve as a pathway for evacuation or departure from Palestine. We are not able to guarantee or facilitate exit permission, border crossing, travel documents, visa approval, transportation, or safe passage to Qatar or another country.
Students are responsible for meeting all passport, travel, exit, immigration, and entry requirements connected to studying abroad. For students who are ultimately selected, Second
Chance will connect them directly with the Georgetown University in Qatar team for support related to GU-Q’s admissions and student visa processes. However, neither application to nor selection for the program should be understood as a guarantee of relocation, travel clearance, or entry into Qatar.
Applicants should carefully consider these realities before applying.
1. Review Eligibility Checklist
